When the world gives us what we want, going with the flow feels effortless. But when it doesn’t line up with our expectations, empowered living might seem challenging. Yoga endeavors to embrace that which is happening while choosing how to make it palatable and ultimately nourishing. We thus can create the impression that we are feeling.
The Rasas are defined as one’s “emotions” or “tastes.” They offer a gamut of grace to help digest moments throughout our day. Without such diversity of flavors, our palate might seem dull or mundane. However, when we marinate in the gumbo of sensibilities, we can relish an array of emotions, all at the same time: of love and fury, laughter and disgust, tranquility and horror, sadness and courageous wonder.
Cat will guide us through the range of asana, as we play within the spectrum of flavorful poses. When the heart is full of essence, we imbibe the juice of life. Come savor your practice, and taste the spirit of your Rasas!Location: Yoga Birds458-B North Section Street
